Far From All Close to LIFE

Göcek is located in Mugla province in Southeastern Turkey on the northwest coastline of Gulf of Fethiye creating an excellent natural harbor and sheltering an almost circular bay. The history of Göcek goes back to the Lycian civilizations. Surrounded by pine tree filled Taurus Mountains, access to Göcek from sea is from the south. It is a peaceful and pleasant village with a local population of about 5000.

Göcek village began to flourish and developed into an attractive yachting resort especially after the completion of marina facilities. Göcek hosts four busy marinas all of which are equipped with the usual technical and social amenities. Sailors from all over the Mediterranean can stop in to refuel, take a rest and make use of the facilities in the town. The marinas can accommodate nearly 1000 vessels of all sizes and shapes.

Best Sailing Spot in Mediterranean...

The Bay of Göcek is one of the best sailing spots on the Mediterranean. Dotted with islands and
Sculpted by many coves, its land and seascapes are irresistible.

Göcek Yacht Club, founded in 1999 organizes regattas twice a year – usually in May and
November – which have now become major events in daring sailors’ diaries.
